Role overview

Development functions

• Understand and apply development processes, governance procedures, and procurement policies.
• Extract development parameters from strategy briefs, local laws, environmental constraints, and future-proofing considerations.
• Translate utilities operators' and local authorities' requirements into standard development briefs aligned with approved stage gates.
• Prepare stage-gate presentations and coordinate with internal stakeholders and interfacing departments to reach alignment.
• Prepare governance approval papers for relevant governance levels and coordinate Board-level presentation materials with commercial and reporting teams.
• Develop procurement strategies with planning and design, commercial, projects, and other shared-service teams.
• Evaluate land-use proposals and proposed changes to district plans and designs against city and district policies and guidelines.
• Assess impacts of proposed land-use changes and coordinate framework plan updates and refinements.

Stakeholder coordination

• Liaise among the district master developer, architects, engineers, government ministries and agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate regulatory approvals with the development build programme.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and incorporate city-level strategies into designs.
• Build relationships with government agencies, NWC, SEC, community leaders, investors, and development leadership as directed.
• Coordinate development of roads and infrastructure with district asset schedules.
• Arrange meetings and site visits or inspections for senior management and dignitaries.

Planning and assessment
