Regional growth and pipeline

  • Develop and execute the MENA enterprise business development strategy and annual operating plan.
  • Build a multi-year growth roadmap covering priority countries, industries, strategic accounts, channel opportunities, and partnerships.
  • Lead country-level market analysis to prioritize valuable segments, emerging markets, competitive whitespace, and routes to market.
  • Own top-of-funnel performance, pipeline creation, opportunity quality, stage progression, forecast visibility, and contribution to regional revenue goals.

Leadership and partnerships

  • Lead, coach, and develop regional business development professionals; set goals, operating rhythms, performance standards, and succession plans.
  • Build executive relationships with prospective customers, government-linked entities, industrial operators, partners, associations, and regional stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop channel, referral, implementation, and strategic alliance partners.
  • Represent the company in executive meetings, industry forums, conferences, and strategic customer engagements; oversee regional affiliations and events.

Market strategy and opportunity execution

  • Provide customer and market intelligence for product strategy, localization, positioning, pricing, packaging, contracting, and service offerings.
  • Direct enterprise opportunity qualification and advancement, including discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, presentations, proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
  • Coordinate regional pursuit strategies and resources with Sales, Marketing, Product, Consulting, and Managed Services.
  • Develop market-entry cases, country priorities, partnership models, and investment proposals; collaborate on territory planning, budgets, commercial terms, and return-on-investment analysis.

Operating discipline and market intelligence

  • Improve business development methods, playbooks, qualification criteria, account planning, localization, and handoff processes.
  • Maintain CRM governance and accurate pipeline data; track activity and report targets, conversion trends, risks, and growth opportunities to executives.
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, public- and private-sector investment, regulatory developments, data requirements, and customer priorities.
  • Promote responsible use of approved AI tools for prospect research, market analysis, outreach personalization, pipeline insights, and productivity, validating outputs and following company governance.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Requires 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, enterprise sales, corporate development, strategic partnerships, or a related growth function, including substantial MENA responsibility.
