Sona College of Technology is seeking a Civil Lab Technician for its Civil Engineering Department.
The role supports laboratory activities, practical sessions, and maintenance.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required or accepted.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory experience and strong technical knowledge are stated.
Responsibilities
- Assist faculty and students in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil Engineering lab sessions.
- Support 2D drafting, 3D modelling, BIM projects, practical assignments, and project work.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab systems, software, equipment, and technical resources.
- Maintain lab records, student submissions, and inventory.
- Ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD, Revit, 2D drafting, 3D modelling, BIM, civil engineering drawings, technical documentation, and lab management are listed as required skills.
Compensation
- Pay starts at ₹17,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person in Salem, Tamil Nadu.
