Role Description
The Digital Transformation Manager role is a full-time remote position responsible for leading end-to-end digital initiatives that support the organization’s strategic goals.
The person in this role will assess current processes, systems, and workflows, identify opportunities for digitization, and oversee the implementation of new tools and platforms.
Day-to-day activities include collaborating with editorial, operational, and administrative teams to understand their needs, translating requirements into clear project plans, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
The Digital Transformation Manager will monitor project performance, manage budgets and timelines, mitigate risks, and provide regular updates and documentation.
This role also involves championing user-centric design, driving adoption of new solutions through training and communication, and continuously evaluating digital initiatives for improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Digital Transformation and Business Transformation, with the ability to define roadmaps and implement change across processes and systems.
- Strong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and the ability to use insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Experience in Consulting, with a track record of engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, and providing structured recommendations.
- Proficiency in Design Thinking, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and iterative testing for digital solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and remote teams.
- Proven project management experience, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of digital initiatives on time and within scope.
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms relevant to publishing, academic, or public-sector environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working in a remote setting, with strong self-organization, accountability, and adaptability to evolving priorities.
