Beyond the monitor, our team is active in the production process, supporting studio and location shoots as Digitechs to ensure quality from the initial capture through to final, color-accurate post-production
The Ideal Candidate
As a Senior Imaging Specialist, you will transform raw captures into clean, visually compelling assets.
We are looking for an experienced technical artist who brings a deep understanding of color science, print reproduction, and advanced retouching.
You know Photoshop and Capture One inside and out, handling everything from intricate masking and custom curves to color profiling and exact product color matching.
You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and know how to collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep projects moving.
You proactively look for ways to elevate the final image, and bring the kind of reliable expertise and problem-solving skills that make clients trust you implicitly with their brand.
Responsibilities And Requirements
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of CMYK and RGB color science and the ability to apply that working knowledge to perform exact color match to products in controlled lighting conditions
- Demonstrate expertise of gray balance, tone reproduction and hew, saturation and brightness as it relates to under color removal (UCR) and gray color replacement (GCR) to optimize print reproduction
- Demonstrate understanding of sheetfed and web offset print reproduction as it relates to press fingerprinting, calibration and/or color profiling of inkjet proofing systems
- Perform retouching, merging & cloning through an artistic lens to create realistic images that satisfy internal and external clients
- Utilize masking, selections, adjustment layers, custom curves, and layer masks
- Strong understanding of actions, layer masking, selections, adjustment layers, custom curves, clone/healing tools, history brush, clipping paths, color profile, effective resolution, DPI and CMYK/RGB profiles
- Implement client and internal feedback accurately; Ensure deliverables exceed client expectations
- Serve as a Digitech for both studio and location shoots when opportunities arise
- Professional experience with digital photography, raw image editing workflows and other digital file formats
- Must have experience with Adobe Photoshop CC, Capture One, and Camera Raw
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Strong work ethic, results-oriented, and proactive
- Ability to partner well with cross-functional team members
- Excels independently and in a team setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
