Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Policy Consultant to work on a contract basis.

This role involves analyzing, drafting, and reviewing policy documents, legal contracts, and regulatory compliance materials using advanced word processing and PDF tools.

The work directly shapes how next-generation AI systems learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world input.

This position is critical in ensuring clarity, compliance, and adherence to industry best practices across domains like finance, healthcare, and academia.

The opportunity is unique to the AI training and model development space, where expertise in policy and regulation translates into measurable impact on AI performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, draft, and review policy documents, legal contracts, proposals, and research papers using advanced word processing and PDF tools.
  • Provide strategic consultation and actionable recommendations on regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic, or finance-related matters to support AI model training.
  • Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Support clients with precise document formatting, tracked changes, form filling, and data extraction for training and evaluation purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align policy documentation with AI development goals and domain-specific expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in word processing (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs) and PDF tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat) with a focus on document drafting and review.
  • Strong policy analysis skills with experience in regulatory compliance, legal frameworks, or industry-specific standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policy concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Project management experience to handle multiple documents and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic consultation background, with a focus on identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities in policy-related documentation.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all materials reviewed or produced.
