Digital Analytics & Marketing Operations Intern

Hilltop Holdings is seeking a Digital Analytics & Marketing Operations Intern to support the optimization of digital experiences through data analysis, quality assurance, content governance, and marketing operations.

This role assists with website taxonomy management, customer journey mapping, campaign tracking, reporting, and analytics validation while helping maintain organized documentation and processes.

The intern will also research and test approved AI tools to identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency, contributing insights and recommendations that support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across digital marketing initiatives.

• Help develop and maintain website content taxonomies and governance documentation
• Map customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve digital experiences
• Support website, content, campaign, and analytics QA
• Assist with campaign tracking, reporting, and data organization
• Research and test approved AI tools, with a focus on automating repetitive marketing operations, QA, reporting, and documentation
• Document experiments, processes, findings, and recommendations
• Support digital experience and marketing operations projects as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Rising Senior pursuing business, marketing, or related field is preferred
• Some experience (1 – 2 years) is preferred but not required
• Computer hardware, operating system (Windows or Mac), and software/application (MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook etc.) skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint), PowerBI is a plus
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
• Proven self-starter who can initiate tasks and follow up to completion
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Desire to learn about career opportunities in the financial services industry
