ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- include the following:
- Responsible for inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of the fleet of company vehicles in compliance with company and DOT standards.
- Works with department personnel and management on parts, tires, and equipment needs required for heavy truck maintenance.
- Required to sign off on the Driver's Vehicle Inspection reports that all repairs have been completed to meet DOT and company requirements.
- Performs a variety of tasks associated with heavy vehicle maintenance and other duties as assigned by management.
- Position may be required to perform roadside repairs as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have own hand tools, have a Class A CDL.? Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.? Mechanic certification with 3 years mechanical experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Class A CDL and tractor trailer mechanical experience.

Must be a Certified Diesel Mechanic and carry a Class A CDL
