Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a DHA Registered Nurse.
The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes, including assessment, vital signs monitoring, wound care, injections, IV therapy, and medication administration according to physician orders and DHA guidelines.
Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized care plans, documenting care accurately, and reporting patient status changes in a timely manner.
The nurse will educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication usage, lifestyle modifications, and home-care techniques to support safety and recovery.
The role also involves collaborating with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals, coordinating visits, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all DHA and company standards.
Qualifications
- Current, valid DHA license or eligibility as a Registered Nurse in Dubai, with completion of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent preferred).
- Proven clinical skills in home care or acute care, including patient assessment, wound care, IV therapy, post-operative care, and chronic disease management.
- Strong patient- and family-centered care approach, with the ability to provide education, emotional support, and clear health instructions in a home environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English (additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu are an advantage).
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time and schedules efficiently, and respond calmly and professionally in urgent or changing situations.
- Knowledge of DHA regulations, infection prevention and control, patient safety standards, and accurate clinical documentation practices.
- Comfort with using mobile or digital tools for documentation, reporting, and coordination with the clinical team.
- Previous experience in home healthcare, community nursing, pediatrics, geriatrics, or rehabilitation in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
