DHA-LICENSED NURSE – HOME IV THERAPY

Role overview

Clinical and field duties

• Perform IV cannulation, infusions, and prescribed IV medication administration; monitor patients and report adverse reactions.
• Collect blood samples at homes and designated locations; ensure accurate identification, labeling, handling, transportation, and documentation.
• Provide nursing support at corporate events, community campaigns, medical camps, and school activities.
• Conduct screenings, monitor vital signs, perform basic assessments, and provide first aid within scope of practice.
• Perform wound dressing, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring in home healthcare when required.
• Follow clinical protocols, infection control, patient safety, and school health procedures; maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Valid DHA nursing license.
• Hands-on experience in IV therapy, IV cannulation, and blood sample collection.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to patient care.
• Willingness to work on-call and travel to different locations; flexible availability for scheduled events, camps, and school duties.
• Experience in home healthcare, medical camps, corporate events, or school nursing is an advantage.
