Overview

Position Summary

• Malaak is seeking a compassionate and experienced Elderly Care Nurse to join our in-home care team.
• The ideal candidate should be a nursing graduate, or have an RN license with practical experience in elderly care.
• This role is perfect for someone who values patient-centered care and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients in their homes.
• **Key Responsibilities:*** **Direct Elderly Care**: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation.
• Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy.
• **Care Planning**: Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, tailored to meet each client's unique health requirements and personal preferences.
• **Patient and Family Education**: Offer guidance and support to families, educating them on elder care techniques, proper use of medical equipment, and ongoing care needs.
• **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients. Maintain up-to-date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards.

Qualifications

• **Certification and Education**:* Nursing graduate (Bachelor’s degree or diploma) with experience in elderly care. (or)
• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in elderly care.
• **Experience**: A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting focused on elderly or homecare services.
• **Skills and Competencies**:* Strong understanding of elderly care needs, including chronic condition management and personal assistance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and provide high-quality care in a home setting.
