Job Description
- Conduct digital forensic investigations to identify, collect, and analyse evidence.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents to mitigate risks and minimise impact.
- Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective information sharing.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and preventive measures.
- Assist in the development of threat intelligence strategies.
- Support training initiatives to enhance the organisation's incident response capabilities.
The Successful Applicant
- A successful DFIR Consultant should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in digital forensics or cybersecurity, such as GIAC, EnCE, or similar.
- Hands-on experience in digital forensics and incident response within the technology industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in using forensic tools and software.
- Knowledge of network security and threat analysis.
