Qualifications
- Required
- Significant experience leading enterprise DevSecOps, platform engineering, or software delivery tooling organizations.
- Demonstrated success modernizing and operating business-critical engineering platforms at enterprise scale.
- Strong technical understanding of source control, CI/CD, artifact repositories, software supply chain security, and automated delivery controls.
- Experience establishing resilient platform services, lifecycle governance, and effective production support.
- Proven ability to lead distributed engineering teams and deliver complex initiatives across organizational boundaries.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, licensing, and competing investment priorities.
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to connect technical decisions to delivery outcomes, cost, and risk.
- Preferred
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Experience with enterprise tools such as Jenkins/CloudBees, Bitbucket, GitHub Enterprise, Nexus, and security and code-quality platforms.
- Experience with cloud-hosted engineering platforms, container-based delivery, and API-driven integration.
- Experience enabling AI-assisted engineering through governed platform integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Role Boundaries
- The role owns engineering platform services and delivery enablement. It partners with, rather than replaces, application delivery ownership, enterprise testing strategy, cybersecurity policy ownership, and infrastructure platform engineering. Detailed tool ownership and organizational boundaries should be finalized in the role charter.

- Reliable, secure, and well-supported engineering platforms.
- Faster onboarding and less manual friction across delivery workflows.
- Greater adoption of reusable pipelines and self-service capabilities.
- Stronger software supply chain controls and automated evidence capture.
- Reduced tool fragmentation, lifecycle risk, and operating overhead.
- Clear accountability for platform investment, delivery, and service performance.
- The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
