- 🎯 The Role
- We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineering Manager to lead our DevSecOps initiatives and manage a team of engineers responsible for integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- The ideal candidate will drive automation, strengthen cloud and application security, and ensure secure, efficient, and scalable delivery processes across the organization.
- 🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevSecOps Engineers and platform specialists
- Develop and implement DevSecOps strategies, standards, and security best practices
- Integrate security controls, testing, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
- Oversee cloud security, infrastructure security, and container security initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, platform, and operations teams to ensure secure software delivery
- Manage vulnerability scanning, code analysis, dependency management, and remediation processes
- Automate security monitoring, compliance validation, and incident response workflows
- Establish and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security standards
- Evaluate and implement DevSecOps tools, technologies, and frameworks
- Monitor security posture, operational performance, and compliance metrics while providing recommendations to leadership
- ✅ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred
- Strong experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, and secure software development practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Familiarity with security scanning, SIEM, monitoring, and compliance tools
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Security, CISSP, CISM, Kubernetes certifications, or equivalent are advantageous
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
