What You’ll Do

  • As a DevOps Software Engineer, you’ll help design, deploy, and maintain a full‐stack, containerized microservices architecture. You’ll also support systems administration, installation, configuration, and the broader adoption of DevOps best practices across cross‐functional engineering teams. In this fast‐paced environment, you’ll collaborate closely with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
  • You will work with a multidisciplinary group of developers, integrators, and system administrators to:
  • Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big‐data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability
  • Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments
  • Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements
  • Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities
  • Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models
  • Participate in Agile release planning, scrums, design sessions, bug triage, and related team activities

What You Bring

  • You’re enthusiastic, collaborative, and comfortable working with teammates across a range of technical backgrounds. You also meet the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 4-8 years of relevant experience; 4+ years with a Master’s
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Strong Linux proficiency
  • Hands‐on experience with containers and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
  • Demonstrated success working in cross‐functional engineering environments
  • You’ll stand out even more if you bring:
  • Experience operating systems at scale
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Development experience (Bash, PowerShell, SALT, Python, Groovy, Java, etc.)
  • Experience supporting enterprise or production systems
  • Familiarity with:
  • Kafka or other messaging systems (AMQP, JMS)
  • Kubernetes monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • GPU‐based Kubernetes
  • SALT for deployment automation
  • Helm / Helmfile
  • Nexus
