DevOps/Platform Engineer

Role overview

What you’ll work on

• Design, build, and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines across microservices and Unity applications.
• Build reusable pipeline templates so teams can share workflows across repositories.
• Integrate SAST/DAST, dependency and secret scanning, and SBOM generation into delivery.
• Speed up builds through caching and parallelization.
• Automate releases, including versioning, approvals, migrations, feature flags, and release notes.
• Partner with engineers on local development parity, preview environments, pull-request checks, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Build pipeline and deployment observability using metrics, logs, alerts, and dashboards.
• Respond to deployment or release failures and keep the tooling stack current.

Required skills and experience

• At least 3 years in DevEx, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Bash and one of Node.js, Go, or Python.
• Deep hands-on GitHub Actions experience and ability to debug CI logs, build systems, and runtime environments.
• Strong Docker experience and hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• Cloud deployment experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including IAM and networking.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience; Terraform is preferred.

Additional skills

• Monorepos and advanced build systems such as Bazel, Nx, Turborepo, or Pants are a plus.
• GitHub Enterprise Server and self-hosted JFrog Artifactory administration are a plus.
• SLSA, Sigstore, provenance, signing, and attestations are a plus.
• Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry are a plus.

• The employer says the team builds in person in Abu Dhabi and that the role is not fully remote.
