- 🎯 The Role
- We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineering Manager to lead DevOps strategy, engineering teams, and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will drive automation, improve system reliability, establish DevOps best practices, and lead teams responsible for continuous integration, deployment, infrastructure management, and operational excellence.
- 🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage DevOps engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance guidance
- Develop and execute DevOps strategies aligned with business, engineering, and technology objectives
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment processes
- Oversee cloud infrastructure management, scalability, availability, and performance optimization
- Establish best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, logging, and system reliability
- Collaborate with software engineering, cybersecurity, architecture, and operations teams to improve delivery processes
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce manual processes, and improve deployment speed
- Ensure security, compliance, and operational standards are integrated into DevOps practices
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve engineering capabilities
- Prepare engineering reports, operational metrics, and strategic recommendations for technology leadership
- ✅ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or software operations
- 3+ years of experience managing DevOps teams, engineering teams, or technical delivery functions preferred
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, containerization, orchestration, and automation technologies
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, security practices, and infrastructure architecture
- Experience implementing DevOps, SRE, and Agile engineering practices
- Excellent technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and strategic decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
