Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• **Infrastructure Architecture:**
• Engineer end-to-end DevOps systems optimised for secure deployment across private-cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• **Automation Leadership:**
• Direct the implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
• **Secure Delivery Pipelines:**
• Build and maintain CI/CD practices that ship software updates seamlessly without compromising client data sovereignty, embedding DevSecOps principles by default.
• **Container and Orchestration Design:**
• Architect containerised deployment patterns suitable for both managed-cloud and air-gapped on-premise environments.
• **Asynchronous Collaboration:**
• Partner with our distributed engineering and information-security bench to integrate DevOps best practices into the core software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• **Education:**
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• **Technical Mastery:**
• Deep proficiency in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi) and enterprise automation tooling.
• **Cloud and Infrastructure Expertise:**
• Proven Solution Architecture experience across cloud-native and on-premise deployment, ideally credentialled at AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent depth.
• **Container Fluency:**
• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm — including hardened and air-gapped Kubernetes deployment patterns.
• **DevSecOps Orientation:**
• Working familiarity with secrets management, image scanning, SBOM, and ISO 27001-aligned control environments.
• **Remote Discipline:**
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex infrastructure projects and collaborate effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment with strong written and architectural-decision documentation.
• **Analytical Mindset:**
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on precision, security, and performance.
