What You'll Do
- As Development Manager, you will lead strategic land subdivision precincts within the Skyfields portfolio, including sites identified for significant industrial, large-format retail and commercial development opportunities. Working closely with the General Manager Property Development, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning and approval processes required to unlock development opportunities, including Major Development Plan applications, regulatory submissions, stakeholder engagement and environmental offset requirements.
- Preparing and implementing development strategies and feasibility assessments for staged subdivision projects.
- Developing and maintaining detailed financial models to support investment and development decisions.
- Managing project programmes and delivery timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinating internal stakeholders and external consultants to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required standards.
- Providing strategic advice and contributing to the ongoing growth and performance of the property development portfolio.
- This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. You will play a key role in expanding the portfolio and creating value through strategic land development initiatives. The position also offers the opportunity to work on built-form development projects, managing the full development lifecycle from concept through to completion.
- About You
- You have 5+ years’ experience in property development and hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
- You are a confident and skilled negotiator with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- You are highly results-driven with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- You have proven experience delivering land development and subdivision projects, along with exposure to built-form developments.
- You excel in stakeholder management and have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
