Your Role
- Processing development projects in the best possible way.
- Providing support in the optimization of the recipe portfolio in terms of cost structure, resource use and quality in collaboration with Recipe Management.
- Collaborating with technical project managers and Sales (discussing briefings, clarifying questions usually for BtO processes, tasting, evaluating samples, selecting samples).
- Arranging diverse tests on product shelf life and changes in collaboration with Product Science.
- Creating and maintaining recipes in SAP.
- Implementing in-house and statutory specifications and guidelines on hygiene, HACCP, food safety, occupational safety, and environmental protection.
- Conducting measures assigned by Quality and corrective action.
- Tasting developed products.
- Ensuring the correct execution of lab trails and the creation of product samples, tastings for product developments and correct coordination and collaboration with the Sampling Lab and Pilot Plant for the production of appropriate customer samples.
- Participating in customer workshops in collaboration with Product Management, Technical Project Management and Sales; preparing customer samples and adapting the samples during the workshop.
- Maintaining product-specific substance data in SAP.
Your Profile
- University degree preferably in food science, chemistry, or a relevant discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in the food & beverage industry.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong customer orientation, solution-driven.
- Dynamic and energetic business attitude.
- Digital systems proficiency.
- Team player with strong customer focus
- Problem solving/Analytical thinking
- Able to understand and convey the customer needs into business opportunities.
- Developing new recipes for customer and innovation projects, developing matching products and further developing existing recipes.
