Designer role at 3C Metal in Pune, India, covering structural, piping, and equipment design.

Responsibilities
- Deliver quality 2D and 3D drawings for structural, piping, and equipment design.
- Create concept general arrangement drawings and calculate bills of materials for piping and structural estimates.
- Issue detailed fabrication drawings with welding details in line with industry standards.
- Issue piping isometric drawings and generate or modify P&IDs.
- Integrate 3D models with point cloud data and perform detailed clash-check analysis.
- Conduct onshore and offshore site surveys and prepare accurate drawings and reports.
- Prepare follow-up survey analysis, concept drawings, and quotation information.
- Complete allocated projects on time and align work with the 3CMME framework and relevant standards.
- Help update databases and files for specifications, standards, and drawing tools.
- Review sketches and drawings for design-concept compliance; explain drawings to the project team and make adjustments as needed.
Candidate requirements
- A technical degree or bachelor's degree in marine, mechanical, or structural engineering, or equivalent, is mandatory.
- The profile states up to 4–5 years of design and drafting experience.
- Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D are mandatory.
- Proven offshore oil and gas experience is mandatory.
- Requires solid understanding of oil and gas technical requirements, industry standards, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Requires in-depth steel fabrication knowledge, particularly for structural components.
