The Post: Design & Technology Teacher

• Deira International School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Design & Technology teacher to join our team in August 2026.
• This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our highly successful DT department, while also supporting the broader ethos of our outstanding international school.
• The successful candidate will have the expertise and experience to teach Design & Technology up to iGCSE at Key Stage 4, and IB or A-Level at Key Stage 5, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and fostering creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills.
• The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
• Experience teaching GCSE Design & Technology is essential and A Level/IB Experience is desirable.
• A B.Ed. or degree in a related subject and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
• A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
• A mind-set which understands all students have the potential for top performance, and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.
• Experience which will enable a contribution to our enriched curriculum programme.
