Overview
Collaborate with designers to translate high-fidelity UI designs into interactive, coded UI components.
Build and maintain design-system components (React, Vue, Angular) ensuring design consistency across applications.
Develop accessible, performant, and responsive interfaces aligned with WCAG standards and internationalisation.
Document design patterns, style guides, and code libraries.
Create and maintain component documentation in Storybook.
Participate in Agile ceremonies across squads/tribes, working closely with front-end engineers to define and integrate design tokens and APIs.br> Technical Skills Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience
with at least one modern UI framework (React, Vue, or Angular) Proficiency with tooling: Storybook, Styleguidist, Figma-to-code plugins, Babel, Webpack Knowledge of component architecture: theming, tokens, props API Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1), responsive design, mobile-first Version control (Git/GitHub) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology Design & UX Skills Proficient in Figma Strong sense of interaction, visual, and motion design Understanding of UX fundamentals: user flows, accessibility, inclusive design Familiarity with ISO 9241 usability standards is a plus Soft Skills Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Analytical and data-driven approach to design iterations Self-starter, proactive in system improvements
