Design Manager

Overview

Responsibilities

• We are building a pipeline to be prepared for upcoming projects in the coming months.
• Mobilisation is anticipated to take between 3-6 months.
• Our newest opportunity is for talented Design Manager to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, KSA.
• This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, working on master planning and designing infrastructure including roads and various utility networks.
• We envisage success in this role to include:
• Participating in and coordinating the design development and delivery of large and multi-discipline land development infrastructure projects.
• Coordinating, monitoring and verifying design progress and submittals at all design phases.
• Liaising, in coordination with the Project Manager, with the various project stakeholders, including internal teams, the client, consultants and contractors.
• Participating in establishing and implementing the Project Management Plan and procedures.
• Ensuring project standards and Quality Management procedures are implemented across each of the technical areas involved in the project, including project administration.
• Ensuring terms of the contract are followed and manage scope changes and their effect on delivery of project objectives.
• Organizing, attending or chairing design meetings and workshops, which will include preparing meeting minutes and following up on identified actions

Qualifications

• To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 + years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), Master's is preferable.
• Furthermore, you should demonstrate:
• Proven experience in the design of various infrastructures.
• Experienced in 3D modeling infrastructure design methodologies and software.
• Knowledge in BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D is an advantage..
