About This Role
Design Manager - Dubai
We’re working with a boutique, design-led architectural practice in Dubai that is growing rapidly and winning high-profile hospitality and F&B projects. As the business scales, they are looking to hire a Design Manager to take ownership of project delivery and support the next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on, leadership role and is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the detail of projects while guiding and mentoring a team.
You’ll act as the key link between leadership and the architectural team, ensuring projects are set up correctly, run smoothly, and delivered to a high technical standard. From day one, you’ll be involved in live projects, supporting client interactions, resolving technical challenges, and driving consistency across delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading project setup, coordination, and delivery
- Acting as the main point of contact for technical queries
- Overseeing QA/QC across multiple projects
- Mentoring architects and supporting their progression
- Managing project programmes, resources, and team output
- Supporting bids and ensuring projects are commercially and technically sound
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Architect with 8–10+ years’ experience
- Strong UAE experience (authorities, regulations, approvals)
- Proven track record delivering projects end-to-end
- Experience in hospitality, high-end F&B, or similar sectors
- A balance of technical expertise and project management
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable leading from within a team
