Adcon Contracting LLC is seeking a
Skilled Shoring And Piling Design Engineer
with extensive experience in designing and executing piling and shoring systems for construction projects.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid
Dubai Municipality Piling And Foundation License
and demonstrate a strong background in regulatory compliance and hands-on project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of
- piling and shoring systems
- for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct detailed
- site evaluations, geotechnical assessments
- , and risk analyses to inform design specifications.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports to ensure compliance with local and international engineering standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to align designs with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Follow-up with DM, DDA,RTA, Trakhees to get designs approved from Concerned Authorities.
Qualifications
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- **License/Certification:**
Valid
- Piling and Foundation DM License (First or Second Grade)
- is mandatory.
- **Experience:**
Minimum
- 5+ years
- of hands-on experience in piling/shoring design and implementation.
- **Driver's license**
- : Candidates with a driver's license will be strongly preferred.
Additional Note
Providing a project portfolio demonstrating piling/shoring design experience will be helpful but not required.
Skills
- Proficiency in piling design software (e.g., PLAXIS, LPILE, Wallap, Prokon or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of geotechnical principles, construction methodologies, and safety standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
