Role Description
The Design Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed technical and architectural drawings for kitchen projects, translating design concepts into accurate plans and layouts.
Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating CAD models, coordinating with designers and project managers, and ensuring drawings comply with project specifications and relevant standards.
The role involves reviewing design requirements, resolving drafting issues, and supporting concept development by providing precise technical documentation.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, requiring regular collaboration with the local team and participation in project meetings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and general Drawing, with the ability to produce clear and accurate design documentation.
- Experience creating Engineering Drawings that meet industry standards and support fabrication and installation processes.
- Ability to develop precise Architectural Drawings for interiors, layouts, and elevations.
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software relevant to kitchen and interior design drafting.
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong spatial awareness, and the ability to interpret design briefs and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Experience in kitchen, wardrobes, or residential design projects is an advantage.
