Overview
MJU Engineering Consultancy is expanding the design team and inviting senior design architects to submit their application for a full-time, on-site Design Architect role in Dubai.
The Design Architect will develop concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed architectural solutions for interior and exterior projects.
Responsibilities
include preparing design presentations, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and translating client requirements into functional and aesthetic designs.
The Design Architect will also collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design issues, support site coordination, and help maintain project timelines and quality.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience in concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and technical details.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional registration or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and strong visual presentation skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and permitting processes in Dubai or the Gulf region is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects or deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and design quality.
