Job Summary
The Dermatologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical and cosmetic skin conditions.
The role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing dermatological procedures, and ensuring adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat various skin, hair, and nail disorders, including chronic and acute conditions
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and medical history reviews
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
- Perform medical and cosmetic dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and chemical peels
- Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure adherence to infection control standards, safety protocols, and ethical medical practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management
- Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Stay updated with the latest advancements, technologies, and best practices in dermatology
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Dermatology
- Valid medical license/registration (QCHP / MOPH preferred in Qatar)
- Proven experience in clinical dermatology and aesthetic procedures
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cosmetic dermatology (laser, Botox, fillers, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern dermatology equipment and technologies
- Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach
