We are seeking an experienced
Deputy Project Manager
to support the successful delivery of a large-scale Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) project in Dubai.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with proven experience in major infrastructure, roads, bridges, highways, utilities, or transportation projects within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all project activities.
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations and ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and RTA standards.
- Monitor project schedules, progress, resource utilization, and productivity.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead site teams to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Review and evaluate construction methodologies, work programs, and technical submissions.
- Assist in resolving technical and operational challenges.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum
- 15 years of construction experience
- , including significant experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- At least
- 5 years in a Project Management or Deputy Project Management role
- .
- Proven experience delivering
- roads, bridges, or major infrastructure projects
- in the UAE.
- Familiarity with RTA regulations, standards, and approval processes is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Only candidates with relevant UAE infrastructure/RTA project experience will be considered.
