Assist and take on Plant Manager’s role when Plant Manager is absent , guide the corporation in maintaining and improving its competitive position.

Coordinates activities between department s to achieve require and consistent results .

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

• Directs the company’s Operations’ activities include production, quality, technical, logistic, trade compliance toward the accomplishment of corporate objectives.
• Coordinate Operations’ activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinates communication and activities between the “mother” facility and satellite locations with regards to Operations’ activities.
• Directs the manufacture of all company products at lowest cost consistent with established specifications as to quality and quantity.
• Any other job -related duties as assigned by management.
• Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions.

• 10+ years in related / similar position
• Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes .

Educati on:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing / related technical or equivalent experience.

Training required :

• On the Job Training as appropriate
