Deputy Manager

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can act in a position deputy manager for a geotechnical contracting company in Abu Dhabi with projects across the UAE and possibly; occasionally in Oman. Services covered under the company's portfolio include; piling, micro-piling, shoring, anchoring, drilling & grouting, ground improvement as vibro-compaction, vibro-replacement, rigid body inclusion (CCFA & CMC columns), soil nailing & rock bolting, meshing & shotcrete application for slopes & shaft wall stabilization, drilling contracting for installation of deep earth wells for ER, CPs & any other instrumentation installation in holes. Also, deep coring for civils & mining purpose. The candidate should have worked, hands-on, practical working experience in these particular fields; for at least 12 years; with PMI style management experience covering, marketing, technical, time planning & monitoring, project documentation, general project & company financial management, follow up & monitoring; with general understanding and appreciation in the fields of HR management, maintenance workshop & warehouse store keeping administration. Also, a working knowledge in project proposals, procurement & purchase, quality & HSE management. Implementation and enforcement of internal code of ethics and enforcing execution according to the company's established integrated management system (IMS). We are looking for a person who can control & monitor company affairs and activities to ensure the company's objectives are met to the satisfaction of the stakeholders; with appreciation of contractual, legal, regulative & legislative constraints applied locally. This position would be supposed to report the company’s GM and work in coordination with other veteran section managers.
