Dental Receptionist

Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients in a warm and professional manner
• Manage patient appointments, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp messages, and patient inquiries promptly
• Register new patients and update patient information accurately
• Maintain and organize patient records and documentation
• Coordinate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow
• Explain basic clinic procedures, appointment details, and treatment processes to patients
• Handle billing, payments, insurance coordination, and receipts (if applicable)
• Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and inquiries
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times
• Support daily clinic operations and ensure excellent patient experience

Requirements

• Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental/medical clinic is preferred
• Good knowledge of dental terminology and clinic workflow is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Good computer skills and experience with dental software is preferred
• Fluency in English is required (additional languages are an advantage)
