Dental Assistant Nurse

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including:
• Dental implants (surgical and restorative stages)
• Root canal treatments (endodontics)
• Veneer preparations and cementation
• Composite and amalgam fillings
• Dental cleanings and prophylaxis procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols
• Ensure treatment rooms are fully prepared before and after procedures
• Take and process dental radiographs (if certified)
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records
• Provide chairside support to ensure procedures run smoothly and efficiently
• Offer reassurance and care to patients before, during, and after treatment
• Manage suction, retraction, and instrument passing during procedures
• Support inventory management and ensure clinical supplies are well-stocked
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and clinic protocols

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Deliver a calm, friendly, and professional patient experience at all times
• Comfort anxious or nervous patients and ensure a positive clinical environment
• Explain basic post-treatment care instructions when needed (under dentist supervision)
• Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant
• Strong hands-on experience assisting with:
• Implants
• Root canals
• Veneers
• Fillings
• Dental cleanings
• Excellent understanding of dental instruments and procedures
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Patient-focused, calm, and friendly personality
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
