Saudi Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures
• Prepare and organise treatment rooms before and after each patient
• Perform
• proper sterilisation and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment
• in accordance with MOH and infection control standards
• Operate autoclaves and ensure correct sterilisation cycles and documentation
• Maintain strict infection prevention and control protocols
• Provide chairside assistance and patient support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Maintain dental inventory, supplies, and stock levels; and report shortages or discrepancies
• Monitor expiry date of all materials and supplies in the clinic, and report accordingly
• Monitor and document dates of opening and expiry of all injections, medicaments, and clinical materials in the clinic; ensure proper usage within approved timeframes, and report accordingly

• Saudi National (Mandatory)

• Degree in Dental Assisting preferred
• Valid SCFHS classification and professional license
• Proven track record of experience in sterilisation of dental instruments and clinical tools
• Strong knowledge of infection control, cross-contamination prevention, and sterilisation tracking systems
• Previous experience in a dental or healthcare clinic preferred
• Previous experience with CBAHI preparation
• Excellent communication skills and professional conduct
• Organised, reliable, and able to work within a team
• Experience in inventory monitoring, expiry tracking, and documentation protocols
