Our team is expanding to meet growing demand across clinics in the United Arab Emirates, and we’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our front-line care delivery team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms in compliance with infection control guidelines.
- Assist dentists during patient procedures by handing instruments, managing suction, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Take and process intraoral X-rays using digital radiography systems under dentist supervision.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and coordinate with front desk staff for seamless clinic flow.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and ensure timely restocking of consumables and equipment.
Must-Have
- Dental assisting certification from a recognized institution
- Proficiency in infection control protocols (OSHA or local UAE equivalents)
- Experience with digital radiography systems
- Hands-on experience with dental instruments and equipment handling
- Strong patient communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar)
Preferred
- CPR certification (Basic Life Support or equivalent)
- Experience working in a multi-national or GCC-based dental clinic
- Arabic language proficiency (spoken or written)
