Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role based in the Doha Metropolitan Area.

The Dental Assistant will support dentists chairside during a variety of procedures, including general, prosthodontic, implant, and orthodontic treatments.

Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and organizing instruments, assisting with impressions and X-rays, mixing materials, and ensuring patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.

The role also involves updating patient records, managing appointment flow, maintaining infection control standards, and coordinating with the front desk for scheduling and follow-up.

The Dental Assistant will contribute to a safe, respectful, and professional environment while providing attentive and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

  • Clinical support skills, including chairside assisting, instrument sterilization, and preparation of treatment rooms.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures such as general dentistry, basic orthodontic, prosthodontic, and implant-related assistance.
  • Familiarity with dental materials, radiography processes, and basic use of dental equipment and tools.
  • Administrative abilities, including accurate record-keeping, appointment coordination, and effective communication with patients and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused, empathetic, and professional approach in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Understanding of infection control, sterilization protocols, and health and safety standards in a dental setting.
  • Relevant dental assisting certification or diploma; current professional registration or eligibility according to local regulations is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is an advantage; new graduates with strong practical training are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to a busy schedule, and maintain attention to detail in fast-paced situations.
