Demi Chef De Partie - Bakery

Role overview

Duties

• Assist with preparing and baking bread, pastries, and other baked items.
• Follow ingredients and recipes precisely to maintain consistency and quality.
• Monitor section inventory, submit timely requisitions, and minimize waste.
• Collaborate on new recipes and baked items and support broader kitchen operations as needed.
• Comply with hotel health, food safety, and hygiene standards, including HACCP and UAE Municipality requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal culinary training is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in the bakery section of a five-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Hands-on baking, dough handling, proofing, and finishing experience, with a strong understanding of HACCP and food safety.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Hotel pre-opening or renovation experience is highly desirable.
• Creativity, passion for baking, and a team-oriented mindset.
