Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid Demand Planning Manager role based in Dubai, with flexibility to work both on-site and from home.
The Demand Planning Manager will develop and maintain demand forecasts, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align plans with business objectives.
Daily responsibilities include analyzing historical data and market trends, reviewing forecast accuracy, and updating demand plans to support production and inventory decisions.
The role will coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory.
The Demand Planning Manager will also prepare regular reports, lead demand review meetings, and propose process improvements to enhance forecast reliability and overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Strong demand-focused capabilities, including Demand Planning and Demand Forecasting skills, with experience using forecasting tools or planning systems.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including proficiency in Excel or similar tools, and the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and present clear insights.
- Experience in Production Planning and coordination with operations or manufacturing teams to align supply with demand.
- Solid Inventory Management knowledge, including setting safety stocks, monitoring inventory levels, and optimizing stock across locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, IBF) are an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decisions.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment with part-time hours.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environments and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) are beneficial.
