Role Description
The Delivery Driver and Rider role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.
In this role, the team member is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering packages to customers and business locations within assigned routes.
Daily tasks include planning delivery schedules, following navigation and company procedures, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customer support teams.
The role also involves inspecting vehicles or bikes for basic safety, handling packages with care, obtaining delivery confirmations, and following all traffic and company safety regulations.
The Delivery Driver and Rider is expected to provide courteous service, represent the company professionally, and support operational efficiency during peak and off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Strong driving and riding skills with a valid UAE driving license (motorbike or light vehicle, as applicable) and good knowledge of Dubai roads.
- Ability to follow delivery routes, use GPS or navigation apps, and manage time effectively to complete multiple deliveries per day.
- Customer service and communication skills to interact politely with clients, handle delivery issues, and coordinate with operations staff.
- Basic documentation and handling skills, including collecting signatures, verifying addresses, and keeping accurate delivery records.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle packages safely, and maintain vehicles or bikes in clean and roadworthy condition.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety, with willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, or peak periods when required.
- Previous experience in courier, logistics, or delivery services is an advantage; familiarity with last-mile delivery operations is beneficial.
- Basic English communication skills; additional regional languages are a plus.
