Delivery Driver

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver packages to customers within the designated area.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring their security and integrity.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Verify delivery information, including addresses and contact details.
• Obtain necessary signatures and proof of delivery from customers.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding any issues, delays, or changes in delivery schedules.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Messenger LLC professionally.
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage or loss.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in delivery services is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
