Default Accounting Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Represent CAM practices and interests in projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with business partners across Business Banking, Commercial, Consumer, Mortgage, and Retail to support default-servicing needs through technology and projects.
• Produce non-routine reports and spreadsheets covering strategy, historical performance, workflows, and financial analysis.
• Conduct analysis, data review, research, and reconciliation to support CAM decisions.
• Draft and edit procedures; support audits, user certifications, and compliance testing.
• Plan, test, and implement projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes affecting assigned teams.
• Coordinate with partners, vendors, and Technology to resolve system issues.
• Follow risk, regulatory, and internal control standards; escalate risk issues and implement audit points in a timely manner.

Required education and experience

• Associate degree plus at least 3 years of related experience, or a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in collections and/or default servicing.
• Proven analytical skills and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers and pertinent word-processing and spreadsheet software.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred experience

• Prior experience in the functional areas supported is preferred.

Pay

• Pay range is USD 26.00–43.34 per hour; individual compensation depends on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
