DCS - Securities Listed & FX Derivatives Operations - Analyst

Role overview

Duties and responsibilities

• Confirm and settle all DCS products accurately and on time, following management timelines and internal operating procedures.
• Cross-train and develop operational knowledge of DCS products, with particular focus on FX derivatives.
• Cover departmental ad hoc tasks when required.
• Identify and immediately escalate potential operational difficulties to the Team Leader or Section Head.
• Comply with the Quality Management System.
• Promptly report issues to senior management and work to resolve them.
• Review current processes and suggest improvements where possible.
• Communicate effectively and concisely, verbally and by email, in a timely manner.

Qualifications and experience

• Have at least five GCSEs, including Maths and English, plus at least two A levels or BTEC equivalent.
• Have any relevant work experience.
• Have excellent communication skills and strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Be collaborative and able to contribute to successful team performance.
• Have a high level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office products.
• Have strong organisational and time-management skills.
