Support Staff Teachers play a key role in our center. You’ll move between classrooms as needed, helping maintain consistency, quality, and strong relationships throughout the day.

Many Support Staff Teachers are promoted into permanent classroom teaching roles.

As a Support Staff Teacher, you will:

Float between classrooms to support children and teaching teams

Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom coverage

Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Support positive behavior guidance and social-emotional development

Build relationships with children across infant, toddler, and preschool rooms

Follow all state licensing, NAEYC, and center policies

Collaborate with teachers and leadership to maintain quality care

At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting

Flexibility and comfort working with different age groups

A calm, reliable presence and strong teamwork skills
