We are seeking an experienced
Databricks Architect
with strong expertise in
data streaming, big data architecture, and consulting/development delivery
.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable data platforms, with a strong focus on real-time data processing and cloud-based data engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement end-to-end data solutions using
- Databricks platform
- Lead
- real-time data streaming solutions
- using technologies such as Apache Spark Structured Streaming / Delta Live Tables
- Design scalable
- data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Provide
- consulting and advisory support
- on data architecture, cloud migration, and modern data platforms
- Ensure best practices in
- data engineering, security, governance, and performance optimization
- Integrate Databricks with cloud ecosystems (AWS / Azure / GCP – based on project requirements)
- Optimize big data workflows for performance, cost, and scalability
- Guide and mentor development teams on Databricks and streaming frameworks
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical governance discussions
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Big Data / Data Architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with
- Databricks (must have)
- Proven expertise in
- data streaming technologies (Apache Spark Streaming / Structured Streaming / Kafka integration)
- Experience in
- data pipeline design, ETL/ELT development, and real-time analytics
- Strong programming skills in
Python / Scala / SQL
- Experience working in
- cloud environments (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Background in
- consulting or client-facing architecture roles preferred
- Strong understanding of
- data modeling, data lakes, and lakehouse architecture
- GCC experience is
- mandatory
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
