- Database security, TDE, hardening, vulnerability management, and patch management using Qualys or Ivanti/SCCM.
- Cloud database administration with Azure and AWS.
- Power BI reporting and automation using PowerShell or Python.
- Compliance, change management, and 24x7 production support.
Experience and knowledge areas
- Experience supporting banking or financial services environments and MSSQL database platforms.
- Experience with security hardening, audit and compliance requirements, Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure, and high-availability production systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server versions 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2025.
- Maintain Always On Availability Groups and database clustering.
- Tune and monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.
- Manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery.
- Write T-SQL scripts and automate database operations.
- Secure and harden databases, including TDE configuration.
- Manage vulnerabilities and patches using tools such as Qualys and Ivanti/SCCM.
- Administer cloud databases across Azure and AWS.
- Deliver Power BI reporting and automation using PowerShell or Python.
- Support compliance, change management, and 24x7 production operations.
