Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Database Administrator (DBA) with 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise database environments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration, monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization, backup and recovery, security management, high availability, disaster recovery, and database support activities.
The candidate should possess practical experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL in production environments and demonstrate the ability to ensure database performance, availability, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform database administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems.
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor database performance, capacity, availability, and overall health.
- Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Manage database security, users, roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
- Support database migrations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and availability.
- Maintain database documentation, procedures, and configurations.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams on database-related initiatives.
- Participate in failover testing, disaster recovery testing, and maintenance activities.

- 3-5 years of hands-on Database Administration experience
