About the role
The role is part of DoorDash's global BizOps Analytics team, focused on Australia and New Zealand.
Partner with Strategy & Operations and ANZ executive leadership, with a focus on merchant outcomes.
Analyze merchant availability, menu quality, ads, promotions, and operational excellence.
Work arrangement
- Hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Advise Strategy & Operations and executive teams on business decisions.
- Identify and prioritize local opportunities for merchants to grow, operate, and monetize their businesses.
- Provide insights on marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and long-term trends.
- Build analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, Python, R, or other scripting and statistical tools.
- Measure business levers and essential metrics, then recommend actions.
- Size problems, ideate solutions, and validate findings using statistical methods and experimentation.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in data analytics, consulting, or a related quantitative role.
- Degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar domain.
- Experience owning strategic projects with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving and strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong SQL, basic ETL, and regression experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language; Python or R preferred.
- Experience with experimentation, A/B testing or causal inference, and hypothesis testing.
