Role overview
Hands-on leadership role at a fast-growing technology business in Dubai.
Leads a data science team while remaining close to technical work building and deploying machine-learning models.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor data scientists and machine-learning professionals.
- Own machine-learning and predictive-modeling solutions from concept through production.
- Partner with product, engineering, and senior business stakeholders.
- Set the data science roadmap and identify high-impact use cases.
- Improve model performance, experimentation, and deployment processes.
- Establish modeling and machine-learning development best practices and scale the data science capability.
Requirements
- Strong background in data science and machine learning, with experience leading or managing data science teams.
- Excellent Python and SQL skills.
- Strong experience in predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and machine-learning techniques.
- Experience moving models from experimentation into production.
- Comfort in fast-paced, product-led environments and strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
