Location

• The role is based at the employer's global head office in Prescot, Liverpool.

Role responsibilities

• Build interactive Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and robust data models for strategic decision-making.
• Develop DAX measures and repeatable ETL transformations using Power Query.
• Clean, transform, and validate complex datasets from enterprise systems.
• Interpret operational data and communicate clear, visual insights to senior and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential knowledge and experience

• Strong hands-on Power BI capability for dashboards, reports, and data visualisations.
• Experience developing data models, DAX measures, and Power Query ETL transformations.
• Ability to prepare and validate complex data from systems such as CRM, LIMS, Finance, or ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills, including manipulation, pivot tables, and reconciliation.
• Practical experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or BI role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, communication, organisation, and independent working skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Preferred experience

• SQL proficiency is advantageous.
• Exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, or KPI reporting frameworks is preferred.
• TIC, laboratory, manufacturing, or supply chain experience is desirable.
